Juan - Juan is your average boy who bit more than he can chew. He is now on a mission to save from what is about to befall to his land and fellow countrymen.
Andreas - A great sorcerer who helps Juan with a condition of obtaining the golden shell in order to bring back Juan where he came from. But is there more to him?
Lapu-Lapu - The first National Hero Juan meets on his journey. Back in his times he fought for what he strongly believes and maintaining the independence of his people in Mactan.
Rajah Humabon - He is the King of Sugbu (Cebu). He readily accepted and welcomed the Spaniards who traveled far in which Magellan was the leader of the voyage. Humabon is a king who won’t let anyone step on his authority and defy him.
Magellan - The man who led a voyage to sail around the world. He ended up stopping by the islands near Sugbu and somehow he met King of Sugbu, Rajah Humabon. He managed to influence some of the locals with the religion Catholicism and convert them into Christians.
Sultan Kudarat - A noble man who is a hero of Mindanao and to the Philippines.
Jose Rizal - He is more than just a famous writer and revolutionary. Juan meets him at the near end of his journey.
Maguayan - The ruler of the Sea. He is the brother of Kaptan, the god of sky. He is supposed to receive a gift from his brother in which held a great power, but it went missing. Maguayan got furious which led him using his powers to humans, a forbidden act as rule between the gods.
Bakunawa – A monstrous dragon who would rise from the ocean and swallow the moons whole. He is a greedy monster who would do anything to gain power and rule over the other gods.
Kaptan – The ruler of the Sky. He gifted a golden shell to his brother, Maguayan. It got lost when it was being brought to the ocean and the only way to know its whereabouts if someone used the power of the golden shell.
